WELLNESS PROGRAMS

4 Minute FitnessTM

Combines ancient secrets taken from tai chi, yoga, qigong, meditation with modern medical discoveries and winning mental techniques used by professional athletes. The secret to our success is our innovative "Layered PracticeTM" method. Practicing one method at a time would consume 16-20 minutes. We simply do them simultaneously so the entire process takes just 4 minutes to complete.

Tai Chi / Qigong

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese form of "moving meditation" and relaxation. Its flowing dance-like movements achieve harmony and balance between the mind and body. The slow, relaxed, non-impact movements of Tai Chi make it a perfect exercise for adults and seniors. According to the Mayo Clinic, Tai Chi helps with stress reduction, balance, agility and more. MARTIAL ARTS ORIENTED PROGRAMS

Bojutsu Seminars

This is a Japanese style of Bojutsu, designed to fight the Samurai.  You will find this style is quite different from the usual styles practiced.  The fundamentals can be picked up fairly quickly and you will be amazed at the power of the style.  Sensei can easily add this style to their systems.  Additional pole arms such as the Jo, Yari, Cane, and Naginata can be taught after the basics of Bojutsu have been learned.

Iaijutsu / Kenjutsu Seminars

The sword is the most notable weapon of the Japanese samurai warriors. Iaijutsu is the drawing of the sword. Kenjutsu is the follow-on techniques after the sword is drawn. Seminars will start with the basics, they can even be taught with the Bokken to start.  This can give your students an introduction to the sword without all the costs to start.  Focusing mainly  on standing techniques, this style is much more knee-friendly than most. This style is concerned with the skills of sword fighting.

Teaching Style

I teach in a friendly manner, not barking at students.  I work at making the learning experience enjoyable. I place special emphasis on the application of the arts taught.
